Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association is a Not-For-Profit Organization and is incorporated at New York. The organization was formed with 65 existing companies for the sole purpose of providing information to the Gem, Diamonds and Jewelry community at-large in order to help them further their business interests in the USA. Today, total export of gem and jewelry to the USA stands at $6.2 billion and the membership at 265 companies, a strong testimony to the tireless effort sthe organization has put in, over the last 17 years, to fulfill its purpose. Now Indian goods account for over two-thirds of the total volume of jewelry sold at retail level in the USA. To achieve this objective, Association arranges 3 to 4 shows every year at Orlando, Tucson, Las Vegas and New York. IDCA also honors clients by presenting "Retailer and Manufacturer of the Year" awards and publishes souvenirs. It also organizes seminars to help in the development of the trade in US. The organization carries out its activities by holding regular meetings of the Board of Directors and has administrative staff of two to coordinate all activities. |
